You're Invited: Each member receives an Annual Report (Special Edition in place of our monthly County Lines Newsletter) typically issued in late February. It gives a general review of our cooperative's operations, audited financial statements and highlights of the year. The Annual Report also includes an invitation to the Annual Meeting as well as, your registration card to bring to the meeting. If you do not have your registration card, you may register at the meeting.
Annual Meeting is Required
The Bylaws of all cooperatives require that an Annual Meeting of Members is held once a year. Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services' Annual Meeting is in the spring every year. Attending the Annual Meeting is a great way to be actively involved in your Cooperative.
The Annual Meeting is your chance to meet the Board of Directors and cooperative staff and learn about Freeborn-Mower Cooperative's plans for the future, as well as, member benefits and service programs.
Instead of voting for your Board of Directors in person at the meeting, the FMCS Bylaws allow member-owners to vote by ballot prior to the meeting. Look for your election ballot in the mail in February if your Director is up for election. Simply complete the ballot provided and enclose in the instructed envelope, then place in the FMCS addressed postage-paid envelope and mail.
The Annual Meeting is for you, our Members. We hope to see you there.
